I follow quite a few illustrators on Instagram and evertime one of them appears in my feed, it makes me smile. To me, true art is always simple. That's what all of my favourite artists have in common (whether they are illustrators, poets, writers or musicians) : their art is simple yet always strikes a chord.
I decided that I will buy something, either a book or a print, of my favourite illustrators because I love them so much and I want to support them. (Of course I can't buy all of it at once, but one thing at a time.)
First I was planning to make a blogpost with a list of my favourite illustrators and their illustrations that I love the most, but as it turned out, that blogpost would become way too long.
So I will make a new series out of it: Illustrators I love.
I hope these will brighten your day as much as mine!
